Modern slavery

Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: 2026 · For the financial year ending 31 May 2026

Introduction

This statement is published voluntarily on behalf of Ronby Ltd ("Ronby", "we") in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. While our current turnover does not meet the statutory threshold that requires a published statement, we believe that taking a clear public position on modern slavery is appropriate for any business that handles consumer goods and trades internationally. We expect this statement to evolve as the business grows.

About our business

Ronby Ltd is a UK-registered private limited company (England & Wales, company number 14117248) operating from 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London WC1X 0ND. We trade consumer goods through two channels: retail on Amazon UK, and wholesale export to trade buyers internationally. Our operational footprint — sourcing, warehousing and dispatch — is in the United Kingdom.

Our supply chain

Our suppliers are predominantly UK-based: manufacturers, brand owners, authorised distributors, registered wholesalers, and documented clearance holders. We do not source from unverified individual sellers, and we do not handle goods of unverifiable origin. Our wholesale customers are vetted businesses based across multiple jurisdictions.

Policies

We have internal policies that bear on the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain:

Due diligence

For new suppliers, our onboarding process includes verification of legal entity status, beneficial ownership where available, trading history, and where applicable evidence of authorised distribution rights. For wholesale customers, KYC and sanctions screening are performed before any commercial relationship begins. We give preference to UK and EU counterparties whose own regulatory regimes provide an additional layer of assurance.

Risk assessment

We assess our overall exposure to modern slavery risk as low to moderate, driven by the predominantly UK source base and our preference for established, regulated counterparties. Higher-risk areas, where we apply heightened scrutiny, include: low-cost imported components within finished goods; unfamiliar new suppliers offering pricing materially below market; and destinations where labour rights enforcement is weaker.

Training and awareness

People involved in sourcing and procurement are made aware of modern slavery indicators and the steps to take if a concern arises. As headcount and supplier breadth grow, we will introduce structured training cycles.

Measuring effectiveness

We track, at minimum: number of supplier onboarding due-diligence packs completed; number of supplier audits or visits conducted; any concerns raised through internal or external channels and how they were resolved. We expect to publish quantitative summaries in future revisions of this statement as the dataset grows.

Approval

This statement was approved by the directors of Ronby Ltd and signed on the company's behalf.
